Greg Hughes Joins ChemFORWARD as Software Developer

We proudly announce that Greg Hughes has joined ChemFORWARD as a Software Developer.

Hughes will play a pivotal part in the maintenance, enhancement, and development of our software applications. These applications are critical, facilitating access to and utilization of our comprehensive chemical hazard repository.

Greg comes to ChemFORWARD with over three years of experience as a software engineer. He has unique expertise in Elixir, a dynamic, functional programming language designed for building scalable and maintainable applications with a simple, modern, and tidy syntax - essential for our growing platform.

Greg brings a proven track record of effective client relations, teamwork, and collaboration, along with sharp problem-solving abilities that will ensure ChemFORWARD’s user-centered solutions are defined and executed with precision.

“We are excited to establish in-house expertise after years of outsourcing our software development needs. Greg brings a unique combination of passion for our mission and passion for our tech. Our team warmly welcomes him, and I know our users will appreciate the new features and functions to come,” commented Stacy Glass, Co-founder and Executive Director of ChemFORWARD.

“Over the past three years, I have been honing my skills as a software engineer while continually fostering and enhancing my team-oriented approach to delivering high-quality solutions. I look forward to this new role.” shared Hughes.

We are excited to have Hughes as part of our growing team and know he will be an integral part of ChemFORWARD’s efforts to create broad access to chemical hazard data, illuminate safer alternatives, and end toxic chemical exposure.
